Venetian murrine in various shapes and colours. The murrina is realized dipping one colour hot glass in other ones, then extending the mass obtained till getting a rod. Cutting it in small pieces all the colours used will appear as a design on the surface of every "murrina". The first murrinas seem to have been realized in Alexandria (Egypt), brought to Rome about 60 b.C. and then developed to their best elegance in Murano island (Venice) where the murrinas we propose are still handcrafted following the traditional method.
